Students Against Hunger
Canned Food Drive

Fox Road Elementary students participated this year in the Food Bank of North Carolina "Students Against Hunger" Food Drive. This important event benefits the many people in our community who suffer daily from hunger. Students from the Recycling Crew along with students from Mrs. Butt's fourth grade class collected cans from the classrooms twice weekly and helped gather the data for our graphs.

This year's food drive was a HUGE success!
Fox Road families donated 2450 cans totaling 2460 pounds!

The class at each grade level that collected
the most cans will receive an ice cream party.
