Each month at Fox Road Elementary a new character education trait is introduced to the students. Students demonstrating that trait have their names placed on a boxcar that is then added to our character education train in the hallways. At the end of the month students that have been recognized have their names placed in a drawing.
One student from each classroom is chosen to participate in a pizza party
with Ms. Rhoads and Ms. Wood.

September Responsibility

Showing high regard for authority, for other people, for yourself,
for property, and for your country.

November Courage
Having the determination to do the right thing
even when others don't.

December Kindness
Being considerate, courteous, helpful,
and understanding of others.

January Self-Discipline
Being in proper control of your words, actions, impulses, and desires.
Doing your best in all situations.

February Integrity
Having the inner strength to be truthful,
trustworthy, and honest in all things.

March Perseverance
Having the patience and fortitude to try again
when confronted with delays, mistakes, or failures.

April Good Judgement
Thinking through the consequences of your actions.
